Best time to visit Udaipur Rajasthan is during the winter season through months of September to March. During this time weather is very much pleasant and the temperature is moderate. The famous Mewar festival of Udaipur held here at the onset of spring attracts many tourists. This colorful festival also includes a vibrant display of Rajasthani folk culture and winds up with a display of fireworks.

The nearest airport to Udaipur is Maharana Pratap airport located at Dabok which only 22 Kms away from Udaipur. Particular airport connects to major cities in India that includes Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai.

Udaipur is blessed with main broad gauge railway track and connects to all major railway stations in India. Superfast and express trains are also available from Udaipur to nearby cities like Jaipur and Jaisalmer.
